Mission
We are focused on supporting the development of children in our community. By investing in a child right here at home, we create opportunities for a better future for everyone. Below are some of the major projects we are currently supporting.
CASA for Children
Every year we partner with the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) to raise money that helps children who are neglected or abused receive an advocate throughout their time in the justice system.
The Eliminate Project
In partnership with our parent organization — Kiwanis International — we're doing our part to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus.
Boy Scouts of America
We have co-sponsored the Boy Scouts of America: Troop 322 along with St. Mary's Parrish since the troop began. They are the oldest troop in Albany and have been in operation for over 85 years.
Albany Farmers' Market
During the summer of 2016, we are sponsoring fresh fruits and vegetables for local children at the downtown Albany Farmers' Market.
Meetings
The Albany Kiwanis club meets every Thursday at Noon at Elmer’s Restaurant
